Pinguicula esseriana has tight rosettes, rarely bigger than a nickel, that blush pink when grown under high light. This species stays delicate and tiny! A must have for the butterwort collection. Single pink, purple, or violet flowers appear twice a year on upright stalks. The butterwort plant is a passive trapper, which means it doesn’t actually use movement to snare its prey.

Care:
-"Pings" like bright light. They are well suited for growing on window ledges.
-Water with distilled or non-chlorinated water. Avoid watering the crown of the plant.
-Feed your Ping in the growing season, once every two weeks for robust growth and flower production. Use small gnats or small fish food flakes.
-Pings are non-toxic and safe for pets and humans.

I ordered just one ping and got 3 which was very nice. They are so cute and were the perfect addition to my terrarium. One of the pings even has a flower bud and I am so excited to see the flower once it blooms.

Ordered two of these along with another couple of plants and was actually sent 5! With how fragile pings are to shipping, this was greatly appreciated and quite generous on the seller's part! All 5 were packaged securely and with care and, while some of them dropped a few leaves in shipping, they are all perfectly healthy and seem to be doing well in their new set-up. Two of them even shipped with a flower on them! I honestly couldn't be happier and will definitely be returning to this seller again in the future!
